Structural Waterproofing & Tanking
In addition to new projects McCane have been working conscientiously with the NHBC for over 20 years as a remedial works contractor, our team have the knowledge and foresight to detail key areas of structural waterproofing which are susceptible to failure in the future, providing a high-quality finish.
Structural Waterproofing to Below Ground Structures
As well as offering a total solution, McCane Construction can work solely as a structural waterproofing subcontractor, offering pump installation alongside type A & Type C installations. We work with private clients, developers and builders to ensure the correct system is installed with the necessary guarantees at handover. Having the ability to fit out the structure allows our installers to be aware of the next trade and consider the impact our work is having on the project. With a friendly, helpful attitude our team are highly knowledgeable and have received training on all products available in structural waterproofing.
Being a member of the PCA (Property Care Association) and having CSSW surveyors we ensure the system proposed and installed complies with BS8102. Our reports are regularly audited by the PCA to ensure they are to the required standard. Working alongside Wykamol and Newton Waterproofing ensures we are installing the state-of-the-art products keeping our installations standards high.
McCane Construction can install to a specification or develop a scheme suitable for the cellar conversion which can then be installed. Having a small team of installers ensures quality is achieved and clients receive a high-quality service and installation.
Where possible we like to be involved with a project at the early stage to work with the design team and client to discuss various options and which details are the most suitable, practical and provide the best finish on completion.
Surveys
As well as installing systems, if a homeowner’s basement has failed and water ingress is evident, McCane Construction can provide a survey service to identify the failure where possible and advise the most suitable remedial solution available.
