Throughout McCane Construction’s journey we have developed expertise in all areas of construction. In 1987 our foundations division was created where our specialism lies. Piling, traditional underpinning, raft foundations reinforced concrete and traditional foundations are a few of the services we offer. With our wealth of experience McCane can deliver exceptional service for both domestic and commercial clients, covering new build, Insurance works and renovations throughout the East Midlands and beyond.

Piling & Reinforced Concrete
McCane Construction have a dedicated, directly employed team who deliver an exceptional high standard of work with our specialist bespoke piling rigs.

We have the facility of being able to install augured and driven piling ranging from 100mm diameter to 300mm diameter providing a range of safe working loads.

We can install the just the piles or we can offer the complete service by installing the piles and reinforced concrete work for the next trade to proceed with the project. Understanding different soil types and the affects of trees we can custom design and tailor a  scheme to suit your needs.

With our experience in mini piling we can work in tight site constraints, advise the best solution in terms of, cost and time.

 

We can provide full design or work alongside your design team developing a solution provide the design calculations for building control ensuring the mini piles and ring beams are adequate for the structure.

We work for national developers as well as private domestic clients and our team at McCane Construction are friendly and approachable. Whatever the size of the project we can assist and wherever possible try to work within the timelines and site constraints which your project dictate.

Underpinning
Through years of dealing with subsiding structures for Insurers and private clients we can offer a range of solutions unique for the structure involved. This may consist of traditional underpinning, pile and needles, pier and beam, or piled raft. 

We work with all local authorities and building control inspectors. Our mini piling rigs can enter a property through a standard front door and with our low mast height we can pile with a restricted head room of 2.2m providing minimal disturbance to the structure.

Traditional Foundations & Floor slabs
Although we specialise in mini piling, we are always interested in pricing and carrying out foundations for new build commercial developments, properties or extensions of any size.
